Sifu William Lam

Learning and teaching Martial Arts has been Sifu William Lam's passion. It all started when he and a classmate started Hung Ga Kung Fu training at an early age. He later took up Tae Kwon Do, Kempo Karate, Jit Kuen Do, Choy Li Fut, Tai Chi, Eagle Claw, Boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, police defensive tactics and impact weapons training from various and well known Sifus and instructors in the Bay Area.
Sifu Lam first learned about Eagle Claw Kung Fu from reading the Inside Kung Fu magazine. He sought out and started taking Eagle Claw lessons from Master Gini Lau. In 1991 they married and later opened the first Eagle Claw Kung Fu Institute in Vallejo and shared their knowledge of Eagle Claw to many eager students. Sifu Lam found Eagle Claw kung fu very valuable in his career as a police officer with the compliance, joint locking, and take down techniques. By continually training and learning new skills, Sifu Lam found it rewarding to his health and skill set.
